Common Ground
Directed and produced by
Josh Tickell and Rebecca Tickell
Big Picture Ranch 2025
Common Ground is a feature documentary on the uplifting story of the pioneers of the “Regenerative Movement” in the farms and on the land
Farmers are giving up the toxic seeds and
the chemical sprays pushed by Big Agriculture,
multi national corporations, in order to produce
tremendous quantities of nutritionally dense food while bringing our entire ecosystem back to life.
The documentary features the experience of farmers
in the USA. Regenerative agriculture is a
revolutionary international movement which could turnaround climate change by regenerating our land.
By fusing a journalistic exposé with deeply personal stories from those in the front lines of the sustainable food movement, COMMON GROUND unveils a dark
web of money, power, and politics behind our broken food system. The film reveals how racist practices in the USA forged our current farm system in which farmers of all colours are literally dying to feed us.
The film profiles a hopeful and uplifting movement of white, black, and indigenous farmers who are using alternative “regenerative” models of agriculture that could balance the climate, save our health, and stabilize America’s economy - and turn around global climate change, before it’s too late.
An inspiring call to action, a movement of hope, the
voice of the farmers, saving the planet,
one acre at a time

agriculture, based on generations of farmers,
are the future of Palestine.

several days after the storm. The pup was rescued by members of the
Tramore Eco Group who are trained members of
Seal Rescue Ireland Rescue Network Volunteers.
At the Seal Rescue Ireland's Centre in Courtown Harbour, she was cared
for, rehabilitated and later returned to the wild Irish sea.
This is the story of Meri and the Seal Rescue Ireland's Centre
in Ireland, whose mission is to protect all life within our seas

An experimental short documentary which takes a nostalgic journey through Santarém, Pará in Brazil, for the filmmaker an emotional landscape, from the simplest moment of a contemplation of a river, once filled with life in childhood, today, because of the devastating impacts of climate change, dry. To the echoes of families and communities, to the trees once loved, now cut down, to the sounds and sights of different animals disappearing from view, to homes and buildings once lived in, falling apart. A meditative work on the personal ecology of everyday life in the urban landscape of the Amazon in Brazil.
Lucas Rebelo is a visionary experimental audiovisual
artist behind Echoes of the Amazon, a compelling project in collaboration
with Odyssey Global Media.
